I knew it was time for a new phone when the battery of my 6 year old phone would no longer hold a charge. I searched many sellers online, reading all the reviews and finally settled on the S24. I’m not at all technically minded and the thought of setting up a new phone was daunting, but it was necessary.

It’s thin and light, and the screen is about as big as it can get without being ridiculous. That’s perfect if you’re 40+ and don’t see as well anymore. The downside is that if you happen to have small hands, it may take some getting used to – it’s just the slightest bit of a reach. The display is bright and beautiful, and it’s super quick with no lagging. If you watch videos or listen to music you’ll notice that the sound quality is amazing, particularly with earphones.

I started with the display, but want to finish talking about it as well, it’s HUGE, and I really like it, but that gives you the advantage of viewing a non-cropped-out content, the resolution, the brightness, refresh rate… The display is a killer really, I really don’t get the people that complain about the color, or perform some tests on the device, etc…. no need.

Love this “computer” which also happens to be a cell phone. My son said so, and told me I would love it. He was right! It does so many things, just incredible. There is a “learning curve” which I am presently having fun with. Pretty classy. Can’t say anything about the battery, as I’ve only had it a short time.

I try to stay off my phone as much as possible these days, so I don’t have any resource intensive apps or use cases, besides maybe some light coding on the go. But the phone feels plenty capable to take what you throw at it.

It is pretty much a no-brainer deal. Sure, it may not have the same camera performance, but please bear in mind that most people aren’t professional photographers but rather people who just want something that works, that’ll run smoothly, and that will last.
